COMPOSITION II (BASIC READING AND WRITING II)is a sample multimodal college-level reading and writing course designed to reinforce student understanding of sentence structure, paper formatting, source documentation, secondary research, style, basic argumentation, basic ornamentation, analytical reading and writing, and writing process, as well as the skills needed to produce college-level discourse (In this course, less emphasis is given to grammar, punctuation, and basic reading skills, since a mandatory knowledge of these skills is required to complete this course). Recommended Materials: a competent handbook and a competent reader.
